Best Event: Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
Best National Park: Carlsbad Caverns
Best Attraction: Arch Monument in St. Louis, MO.
Best Dinner Restaurant: Die Lindenbuun in Fredericksburg, TX.
Best Desserts (tie): The Sweet Potato-Pecan pie at Pappadeaux in Beaumont, TX, and, everything in the pastry case at Whitman's Bakery, Waynesville, NC.
Best City Walk: The Freedom Trail in downtown Boston.
Best Hiking: Colorado National Monument, Grand Junction, CO
Best Biking: The Carriage trails in Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Maine
Best Kayaking: (Lake) the Willard Bay of the Great Salt Lake, and, (River) the Colorado River, just north of Moab, Utah.
Best Riverwalk: Glenwood Springs, CO
Best Fishing (tie): the Green River below Flaming Gorge, UT and The Frying Pan River near Basalt, CO.
Best Beaches: Santa Rosa Island, Pensacola, FL
Best Museum: Baseball Hall of Fame, Cooperstown, NY
Best Art Museum (3 way tie): The National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, MOMA in New York City, and The Art Institute of Chicago.
